Everyone deserves support! With warm vibes and a caring spirit, I'm here to provide information to guide you to resources that fit your needs. If there's something I'm not educated or qualified to assist with, I will research to connect you with resources that strive to help. Just need someone to share something with? Fill out a contact form, and I'll be happy to listen!
You are not alone!

I believe advocacy is all about passion, empathy, and supporting others. Mental health affects everyone, and shouldn't have the stigma that's attached. I advocate to bring awareness, promote positive mental health practices, erase the stigma, and to bring hope to those who may feel they have no support or may not know where to look for assistance. I strive to be a safe space for anyone in need.

Providing others with easy access to resources and information is the heart of this initiative. I believe everyone deserves access to information, support, and care. The resource pages are updated as additional sources have been discovered and vetted. If there is something you're looking for that isn't listed, please send me a message thr

The Daybreak Guide offers a curated resource library with mental health information, support connections, and local providers. I provide a listening ear through the contact form, help guide people to appropriate resources, and share promotional items to spread awareness and reduce stigma.
My lived experience with chronic depression, anxiety, and late-diagnosed ADHD has helped motivate me to try and spark hope for others. I spent 20+ years feeling like I didn't belong; like I didn't want to be here. I was convinced that I was going to feel that way forever. I sought help, I found the right blend of medication to help get me balanced, and I educated myself. I truly feel that researching and reading why my brain does what it does helped me to better understand what I need to do to feel better. A few years later, after experiencing my first AFSP-Indiana "Out of the Darkness Community Walk" in 2025, I wanted to get more involved with helping people feel like things aren't so heavy, and that they don't have to carry it alone. I decided to get certified as a QPR Gatekeeper, and volunteer for AFSP-Indiana Chapter as well as NAMI Fort Wayne once I discovered their organization. I still plan to volunteer with these organizations, but I wanted to start something of my own to do what I can to help others in my own way.
I am very excited to grow this initiative, and to continue expanding access to the resources it provides. People have asked if I plan to register as a non-profit organization. The Daybreak Guide operates without generating profit, but is currently not a registered non-profit organization, and has no concrete plan at this time. Less than a year since its first day online, The Daybreak Guide is still growing its roots, but I am open to the different opportunities that may arise.
No, I am not a licensed healthcare professional. This initiative is a mental health advocacy project focused on sharing personal experiences, resources, community support, and raising awareness. My goal is to offer hope, help reduce stigma, and connect people with helpful information - but for personalized mental health support, please reach out to a qualified licensed professional or to crisis resources in your area. Crisis resources are listed at the top of both resource pages on this website.
Daybreak is defined as the very first glimpse of sunlight or the breaking of the morning. I liked this term because this initiative was created as an attempt to guide others to a moment where things stopped seeming so dark; where the light starts to shine through, and they feel hopeful. I hope to do this by making helpful resources and information more accessible to the public, as well as being a listening ear to anyone who may feel like they don't have someone to turn to.
